Glacier climbing is a wonderful experience. But you can only really enjoy it if you know how to stay safe. Our 3-day glacier mountaineering course gives you solid knowledge and practical experience, including rescue and self-rescue techniques from crevasses.
Our base at Taschachhaus in the Oetztal Alps has perfect terrain on the nearby glacier. The highlight of this course is the ascent of the Wildspitze (3,770m), the highest peak in Tyrol.

Included services: Glacier mountaineering course with a certified mountain guide, rental equipment, theory and outdoor training, ascent of Wildspitze.
Not included: Travelling costs to the meeting point, Half board at Taschachhaus.
Prices per day depending on the number of participants:
- 1-3 persons 600,- per day
- each additional person + 100,-
Accommodation in the hut with half board is not included in the price. There is a supplement of between €70 and €90 per night. On request and subject to availability, you can choose between a dormitory, a shared room or a twin room.
3-Day Tour & Course Plan
First day: Ascent to the hut and equipment briefing
Second day: Day on the glacier, introduction to different rope and crampon techniques.
Last day: Ascent of the Wildspitze and descent to the valley.
